At Bright Hope, we provide medically verified pregnancy testing to help you get accurate results and determine your next steps.

Recognizing the Signs

Some early signs of pregnancy can include:

  • A missed period
  • Swollen or sensitive breasts
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Frequent urination
  • Mood swings
  • Constipation
  • Nasal congestion
  • Cramping

These symptoms can indicate a potential pregnancy but may also be caused by stress, rapid weight gain or loss, or other health conditions. A test is the most reliable way to get an initial result.

How Pregnancy Tests Work

Pregnancy tests detect the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), which builds in your body shortly after a fertilized egg implants and the placenta begins to develop. A positive result indicates hCG levels have reached detectable levels.

To increase your chances of receiving an accurate result, wait at least one or two days after your missed period to take a pregnancy test. You can also take the test first thing in the morning, as your urine will be most concentrated.

If your test is negative, but symptoms are still present and your period hasn’t arrived, it might be too early. Try again a few days later and follow the instructions carefully.

Medically Verified Pregnancy Testing

Our medical team provides medically verified tests to confirm your at-home result or simply provide an initial answer.

If your result is positive, we’ll offer an early ultrasound to confirm key pregnancy details and provide insight into your specific situation.
