Can You Help Me Find Free Housing?

Housing can be one of your most significant needs when facing an unexpected pregnancy. We offer a structured transitional housing program called the Door of Hope Maternity Home (DOH) that provides a safe, supportive space while you work toward independence.

Please visit our Maternity Home page or call 610-821-4000 ext. 4001 to learn about our eligibility requirements and how to apply.

Can My Partner Attend the Appointment With Me?

Yes! Your partner or another support person is welcome to accompany you to the appointment. We want you to feel comfortable and at ease!

What Should I Bring to My Appointment?

Please bring a valid photo ID (like a driver’s license or student ID) to your appointment. No insurance or payment is required.

How Much Do Your Services Cost?

All services at Bright Hope are completely free of charge. You shouldn't have to worry about financial burdens when learning about your pregnancy and available resources.

When Should I Take A Pregnancy Test?

It's best to wait at least one or two days after a missed period to take a pregnancy test. This allows the hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) hormone to reach a detectable level.

Why Do I Need an Ultrasound?

An ultrasound provides critical information about your pregnancy that a positive test cannot. Our medical team offers early ultrasounds so you can learn important details that support your health and safety.

Could I Have an STI?

If you're sexually active, there's always a risk you could have an STI. STIs don't always cause noticeable symptoms, so regular testing is the best way to protect your health.

We provide free STI testing and treatment for chlamydia and gonorrhea. These services are offered free of charge to women.
