What You’ll Find Here
Our maternity home is designed to be a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. Each woman receives personalized support, helping her move toward stability and independence. Moms receive:
- Personalized case management tailored to your unique needs
- Parenting and life skills education to prepare for your next chapter
- Pregnancy education and support throughout your journey
- Trauma-informed counseling and assessments to foster emotional well-being
- Work and school support so your goals stay on track
- Connections to community organizations and post-program support for ongoing help after you leave
All services are free so you can focus on building hope and stability.
Who Can Apply
The Bright Hope Maternity Home is open to women who are:
- 18 years and older
- Pregnant and experiencing homelessness or near-homelessness
- Without other children currently in their care
- Willing to agree to drug screenings
- Willing to submit criminal background and child abuse checks
- Highly motivated to make positive changes
- Willing to save a sustainable portion of total income to build a savings account
- Willing to actively participate in case management and program activities
- In at least one year of recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction
How to Begin
The first step is simple. Please call us at 610-821-4000 ext. 4001 to discuss your eligibility and learn about Door of Hope. If you meet the initial requirements, our program director will contact you for an interview and walk you through the next steps, including filling out your application.
